You don’t have to like Mark Carney. You don’t have to vote Liberal. But if we’re going to argue about his record, let’s at least argue about the record that actually exists.
MARK CARNEY IS DOING GREAT AND HE IS TRYING TO HELP CANADA YOU CANNOT FIX ALL PROBLEMS AT ONCE IT TAKES TUNE AND I FOR ONE THINK MARK CARNEY IS DOING ALOT OF GOOD THINGS AND HE IS HELPING US HAVE BETTER OPTIONS GETTING AWAY FROM U.S CAPTIVE MARKET THAT CANADA WAS STUCK IN FOR THE LAST 70 YEARS IS TERRIFFIC ALL.CHANGES AND NEW DEVELOPMENTS TAKE TIME AND HE HAS DONE MORE FOR CANADA OVER THE LAST 19 MONTHS THAN ANY OTHER P.M. HAS MARK CARNEY IS CHANGING OPTIONS TO A FAST TRACK AND ADVANCING CANADA'S OPTIONS SO CANADA WILL PROSPER.BE PATIENCE AND HE WILL COME THOUGH FOR CANADA.THANK YOU MARK CARNEY FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK I REALLY SUPPORT YOU 100% TAKE CARE STAY SAFE AND DO WHAT YOU CAN FOR CANADA
Great Reporting Fred. FACTS MATTER …they are Lies Kryptonite. The Proven Successes of our leader(s) you’ve outlined have and will continue to create stability for our country and speak volumes … perhaps even eventually to those with “highly selective hearing”.
EU's SAFE inclusion. Okay, we only have one small deal out of it so far, but without Carney's push on that, there would be none (and in the spirit of your "tell the whole story", that deal was in the works before SAFE. But SAFE just made it easier for Poland to say "yes."
The OTHR-A initiative (though, you might be counting that as part of the NATO 2%), along with the subs (though those started under Trudeau, I believe. Carney just pushed it along and refined it).
And I guess all of the lightspeed trade negotiations -- India & Mercosur, specifically -- these aren't finalized (though should be shortly). Still, the speed at which things are happening (and other ones in progress as well). So, maybe not "done something" but certainly "doing something" (and irons in fire with Japan, Australia, S. Korea and others).
Plus the various security arrangements (perhaps less tangible at present).
So, definitely "doing things", even if not all things are at fruition yet.
I should echo, that these are not "normal times" -- traditional party politics, I find, are very wanting right now. I've voted for all three of the main federal parties in my life (much of it with a liberal lean, but not always). I've come to realize that I'm what the folks south of the border would call an "undecided." I used to think that meant people didn't know how to make a decision! But I've come to realize, that usually means there's a "crap detector" in play, and people are evaluating on substance, not, as Gilbert put it "always voting for my party's cause and never doing any thinking for myself at all." (HMS Pinafore). So far, there really isn't anyone on the political field federally, and not much provincially either (well, Wab's showing great potential, and on foreign trade, surprisingly, Moe seems helpful (just don't tell the conservatives -- they'll think he's gone Liberal)). But federally, nobody'else really has a plan for anything -- Carney's showing, yet again, that "centrist wins" rather than extremes of any flavour.
How did you miss he didnt sign a bad trade deal and his dealings with Trump's regime has been exceptional. Hiw about all the trade agreements, alignment with the EU first trade expo in Toronto in September attended by managers of 3 trillion, spades in the geound and Canada moving, building a path towards rapid development of critical infrastructure with massive long term returns and accessing the world to what Canada has to offer. These are just a few of the things you missed. And importantly Carney is the only statesman capable of leading Canada through these difficult time. He is globally connected and Canada is the beneficiary. I also believes he does what he does because he cares deeply about every Canadian and he wanted to help. He is a very rich man and didn't need a job. His public service is genuine and wevshould all thank our lucky stars that he decided to help.

Other notables, I think:

Why would anyone believe PP, the ‘3 word slogan guy’. He’s as bad as that orange thing in the South
