Fred, thanks for capturing these memories -- frankly, for a whole new generation of Canadians, Americans, and anyone else who might need a "way forward" around the world in these chaotic times.

So wonderful to read about the pure kindness shown

It made me cry it’s so beautiful

Reminds we that our first urge is to help people in distress

Than you for writing & sharing

Great way to write this story Fred... This would make a TERRIFIC MOVIE if ever have the idea to pursue your quest for romancing real Life with it's occupants....IS Human beings trying to make sense of it all...🤓😉😏👍

🇨🇦💙 My favourite story was of a minister who saw a stranded grandmother clutching her bible and found a verse that said she was safe and in good hands. So proud to be Canadian and seriously doubt Newfoundland’s unending generosity could be found in America today. 😢

Tears are in my eyes. And, if the same thing happened tomorrow, the care and the kindness would still be the same. There are Angels around us. God Bless. Liz
