Hi, I read you almost everyday and comment quite often. I am excited that you are going to write a book. I read HCR everyday as well and have bought and read her books as well. Thank you for doing this.

Heather Cox Richardson has built something special by showing up consistently and letting people follow along as her thinking evolves.
That’s the part that clicked for me.
Not just writing a book…
But letting people watch it take shape in real time.
I’m going to do the same thing... just in my own GeezerWise way.
And when I get to the point where I’m ready for early readers…
You’ll be on that list 👍
Good luck as it will take a lot of time and energy but you have lots of material to work with!
Stedman, you’re absolutely right... it’s going to take time and energy.
But that’s actually why I’m doing it this way.
I’m not starting from a blank page…
I’ve already got years of writing, testing ideas, and figuring out what actually connects.
Now it’s about pulling the best of that together into something tighter, clearer, and more useful.
And building it out in the open keeps me honest.
Let’s see what it turns into 👍

And honestly… that’s exactly the standard I try to hold.
If it’s not clear…
If it’s not useful…
If it’s not something you can actually do something with…
Then it’s just noise.
There’s already enough of that out there.
What I’m working toward with this book is simple...
👉 Cut through the noise
👉 Say something real
👉 Make it usable
And I’m going to build it the same way I write these posts... out in the open.
