I Think I’m Finally Going to Write a Book

Not theory. Not fluff. Just what actually works when you learn how to monetize attention.

I wasn’t planning to say this yet.

But here we are.

✍️ I think I’m finally going to write a book.

Not because I need another project.
Not because I’m chasing something shiny.

Because something’s been building in the background for a while now…

And it’s time to put it into words.

Since I retired in 2016, I’ve been quietly working on one thing…

👉 Learning how to turn attention into income.

Not traffic.
Not funnels.
Not hacks.

Attention.

Because none of that other stuff matters if nobody is paying attention.

And more importantly…

If you can’t hold attention without sounding like everyone else…
you don’t have a business.

You have noise.

Here’s what I’ve figured out so far…

Most people don’t struggle because they’re not smart enough.

They struggle because they’re not clear.

They don’t know…

• what they’re trying to say

• who they’re saying it to

• or why anyone should care

So they post…

And nothing happens.

I’ve made that mistake more times than I can count.

But over time, something started to click.

When you say something real…
in a voice that actually sounds like you…

People stop.

They read.

They respond.

And eventually…

That attention turns into something you can build on.

So instead of disappearing to “write a book”…

I’m going to do this in public.

Right here.

Some of what I write will end up in the book.
Some of it won’t.

Some of it will be sharp.
Some of it will miss.

But all of it will be real.

And when the book is ready?

I’ll be giving early review copies to the people who followed along.

The ones who read.
The ones who replied.
The ones who told me what actually hit.
