I think the federal government needs to be a lot louder about this situation. It is absolutely a small number of Albertans standing on the side of the road waving their ridiculous flags and yelling at traffic that are getting all press coverage.
I love the Wab Kinew told Smith to her face how wrong she is but Alberta and all of Canada needs to get loud!! It is affecting the whole country and definitely could stop investment into Canada. A country divided makes us look shaky, even though separation will never happen.I don’t see that Smith can change enough laws to make anything possible.
I'm not sure I agree that 'separation will never happen'. I would like to think that it couldn't but with the group of MAGA followers pushing Smith in that direction, added to her own egregious opinions about our country, I am afraid that it could happen. I just hope that the whole lot moves to the US before it does. If they like the way the US does things so much, they ought to all get the hell out of Canada. We don't want them here.
