The heartache ripples out. I live in Ontario, but I have grandchildren, two in BC in the same age group. Our hearts break for families suffering unimaginable pain. Our grandchildren are afraid; our grown children hope they are up to the task of easing the fear. I was an educational assistant, working with misunderstood, troubled and suffering children. We long to be able to put our arms around them all and protect them, not just from physical harm. From their fear, their imaginations. From the terrible pain of wondering who you are in the world, and if your life has any value at all. From the urge to lash out. From the fallout of that ugly urge in the minds and hearts of others who ignore the need for compassion and unity, and chose to sow anger and hatred.
You have such a beautiful way of speaking straight to the heart. Thank you Fred!
Thank you Patricia.
If it lands in the heart, then I said it right.
That means a lot. ❤️
Thoughts and prayers 🙏🏼 to all who live in Tumbler Ridge.
