I have always thought that Canada's reliance on the US economy was lazy politics. Imagine where we could be if previous governments had looked to expand trade before we were forced to.

I agree, Eric.

We built convenience into policy for decades.

Hard to diversify when the easy money keeps flowing… until it doesn’t.

It all feels good until you fill up your car. Bills are facts you can’t explain away with slogans.

Exactly. Ideology sounds great until it shows up on the receipt.

Gas, groceries, heating bills… reality has a nasty habit of interrupting slogans.

Well the moment PP became leader of the Conservative party, I stopped voting this party. I told our local MP that I wouldn't vote again for this party. And I definitely didn't vote for DS. She is big trouble for Alberta and Canada. And I think people are delusional if they think we will get another pipeline to the west coast! I digress, sorry!

No apology needed, Sandi 😊

People vote their comfort level and concerns.

As for pipelines… politics has a funny way of changing when economics starts yelling loud enough.

Since POTUS became the NAZI POSTER BOY they left from their caves they're hidden in. The former defender of Europe from the german NAZIS became their strongest supporter. Let that sink in. NAZIS are murderers, racist, misogyn, traitors and cowards.

History has a nasty habit of rhyming when anger, fear, and scapegoating get mixed together.

That’s exactly why democracies need guardrails...

and why people need to stay engaged, even when politics gets ugly.

Well said Fred! Thank you for always pulling the wrenches out!

“Haha… somebody’s gotta keep pulling the wrenches out

before the country blows a gasket 😄

Appreciate you, Patsy.”
