He taught that such negativity is more about the critics than the object of their whinging. Slough it off with a breezy "So, what!?".
This lesson made a definite impact on my choices in life, and I'm very sure, based on his experience and demeanour, that PM Carney has mastered the art of considered shrugging. ❤️🇨🇦

Performative BS, scream about a certain issue, complain the government isn’t doing anything about it, when they do and a bill comes up for a vote, vote NO against whatever it was they were demanding be fixed!

Most times I read, absorb and turn to my Bride and say “listen to this, this is what I have been saying.” What I see fortunately is a steady ship’s captain righting this ship (our country) and setting a clear, steady and progressive course forward. Not unlike America, Canada has its fair share of ‘stupid people’. How we deal with them is critical in my opinion. Demonstrating one’s stupidity is a ‘right’ in a democracy and must be protected. Responding with facts where there are errors and respect when there is disagreement is important.

I think a lot of it is anger, algorithms, and team sports politics mixed together.
