First off… thank you.
Seriously.
Every comment.
Every share.
Every smart-ass joke.
Every late-night rant about politics, groceries, or the price of lumber.
You folks turned this group into something real.
Not just another Facebook feed.
A community.
A coffee shop.
A digital porch where Canadians show up, pull up a chair, and say,
“Did you see this nonsense today?”
And I’m not going anywhere.
I’m now operating in two places every day.
Still posting.
Still reading.
Still dropping emojis and stirring the pot.
But I’m changing how I run things.
Because Facebook keeps trying to duct-tape my mouth shut.
You’ve seen it.
Two days out of “Facebook jail”… boom… locked down again.
Comments throttled.
Messaging limited.
Posts flagged for breathing too loudly.
At some point you stop arguing with the landlord and just build your own house.
So here’s the new setup.
The Simple Version
The Facebook group = the social club.
Hang out. Talk. Laugh. Share stuff. Be human.
On Substack = the movement.
That’s where the real work happens.
