Forgive me, but what does BRIC stand for? Sorry, not an acronym I am familiar with.

No apology needed Jackie... half this stuff sounds like alphabet soup lately.

BRICS started as Brazil, Russia, India, and China... then South Africa joined.

Basically a club of big, fast-growing economies trying to trade more with each other and rely less on the U.S. dollar.

You’re going to hear it more and more as global money starts shifting around.

And trust me… nobody keeps all these acronyms straight without Googling half of them. I sure don’t. 😄

BRIC is an acronym for the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India, and China. South Africa joined in 2010, changing the acronym to BRICS.

Thank you :) Hard to know the meaning of all these acronyms.

I'm not overly happy with Russia being part of this BRICS.

You might like to write an article on the WERO (it might even be VERO) system that is being developed by European banks to avoid being in the power of VISA and MasterCard.
