I don’t think so. Trump has been a buddy of Putin for some time; he had to show him some form of support, without it being too obvious. Canada, on the other hand, has no such allegiance with Russia and given our relative size, has stepped in to the extent it can to provide support to Ukraine. 😊
My information says Putin has a 2:1 dead/injured rate over Ukraine (a peaceful nation). Putin is a person who has no empathy and with an expansionist/murderous goals. And Trump is laying out the red carpet and saluting him. Meanwhile loaning Ukraine a minimal supply of necessary weapons for theatre purposes.
