Another day, another broken relationship, another lost ally, another order lost to a foreign competitor, another disgusting display, another black eye for the USA. Just another typical day in the life of the orange pedophile felon Trump.

Fred, even more significant in the Italy spat, was her follow-up to his response to her previous follow-up (the "I/we don't beg" bit):

“As for my popularity, being associated with you has certainly not benefited it, nor is it influenced by our relationship. My level of popularity is not your concern. I recommend you focus on your own.”

The last sentence, to the spirit of your article, is the sledgehammer. I haven't every heard anyone in Europe express this degree of a trust problem, at least not openly and directly to him (they all try to either suck-up or at least try to placate him).

Very profound, coming from her. Meloni was likely his strongest ally in Europe in many ways (other than Mark Rutte, and Victor Orban, I guess).

Wow! Very well said Fred! Orange man keeps insulting country leaders yet still expecting them to kiss up to him, ewww! haha When we think he can't stoop any lower, he makes liars out of us!

Oh, while I think of it,

There's that other footnote for the Canadian-made Airbus 220 (formerly Bombardier C-Series): some 200 or so were just sold to Air Asia a few months ago. Boeing lost out on those jets as well (that's why, when Trump went to China, they only looked at buying some 200 or so 737. Instead, they bought some 400 or so Airbus 220 and Airbus 230 jets). I don't have exact numbers in front of me. But again, USA isn't the default source of any aircraft anymore.
