I'm pleased with the results, obviously, but not surprised at the numbers. No matter the question, no matter the issue, you will roughly always get somewhere in the 20% range, group. 20% believe in a zombie apocalypse, 20% believe the earth is flat, 20% will drink the kool-aid, if you ask them to. Not surprised at all with the 24%. Now hopefully the seppies will accept the results and we can get on with the business of strengthening this country.

A lot of Albertans voted to send a message, not for actual separation- what is that message? That they want Ottawa to listen? To what? Alberta is doing a fine job in destroying universal health care, public education and is now asking that they have the same ability to bring the same destructive instincts to immigration, justice, and public safety. They don't want to pay federal taxes, but they want federal dollars to pay for O&G infrastructure while any monies reliased remain in provincial control. However, the grievance and rage farming has an underlying effect that includes a lot of racism and facism.

We're tired of the wrath of Rath. we have a country to build and it will be easier without having to listen to his grievances. He needs to STFU.

Politicians HAVE discovered that keeping people angry can be more useful than actually fixing what they’re angry about. We saw this with Brexit in England, the AfD in Germany, MAGA in the US and separatists in Alberta and Quebec.

It is a disease that is plaguing the world right now.

A previous post put it into perspective mentioning only 8-10% of Alberta’s population voted for separation.
